Chad graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He then graduated from the Cannon Financial Institute Graduate Trust School and earned the CTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor) designation. Chad holds a Series 65 registration with Capital Asset Management, LLC.
Chad brings over 25 years of experience to the team in investment management, charitable, and fiduciary administration. He started his career at the Northern Trust Company in Chicago in Trust and Investment Management and then Family Office Services, serving ultra-high net worth families and individuals. He then worked at Wells Fargo’s Private Bank as a Sr. Fiduciary Advisor and US Bank as the Managing Director of Trust Administration, all in Denver, Colorado. He also worked for the American Alpine Club and University of Colorado at Boulder working with major gifts and planned giving.
Chad’s practice at Capital Asset Management focuses on working with high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational wealth (trusts) and non-profit organizations, bringing solutions to unique and complex situations.
Chad and his wife live in Golden, Colorado, and are proud parents of a daughter in college currently studying in Washington state. He enjoys skiing, flyfishing, hiking and spending time at their summer cabin outside Ouray, Colorado. Chad currently serves as a Trustee of the Colorado Railroad Museum and is a past President of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council. He is a Referee for youth, High School and adult league soccer.
